We enjoyed an absolutely wonderful and lively session with our brilliant Inter Madeira Walking Football Ladies – including our dedicated Ladies Madeira Walking Football group. The pitch was full of laughter and genuine joy as 13 fantastic women took to the field. It was especially touching to see a grandmother and granddaughter playing side by side, creating a truly memorable moment for everyone watching.
The energy carried straight into a spirited 6‑a‑side match, expertly overseen by our female referee, with smiles from the first whistle to the last. These gatherings are about far more than football; they’re about friendship, community, and staying active together. The spirit of the group shines through beautifully in the photos from our latest session.

📍 Our Playground in the Valley
This is where the magic happens – Centro Desportivo da Madeira, nestled between the mountains in the heart of the valley. It’s here, on this vibrant pitch, that you could hear the joyful echoes of laughter from the ladies during our walking football sessions. A field of play, a field of friendship … our playground in the clouds.
