Who says Walking Football is just about football?
This Tuesday morning, the ladies of Inter Madeira Walking Football (IMWF) brought a little Halloween spirit to the pitch at the Centro Desportivo da Madeira in Ribeira Brava.
Before the football even started, the ladies treated everyone to a fun pre-Halloween dance performance, complete with colourful outfits, Halloween accessories and plenty of enthusiasm!
There was laughter, dancing, a few spooky surprises and, most importantly, lots of happy faces.
🎃 A Little Halloween Fun Before Kick-Off!
Our ladies certainly know how to enjoy themselves!
Instead of heading straight into their usual Walking Football session, they decided to warm up with a special Halloween dance.
As the photos and video show, there was no shortage of energy, laughter or good humour.
And after all that dancing? It was time to get back to Walking Football!

At Inter Madeira Walking Football, we believe that staying active should also be enjoyable.
Our ladies’ sessions are about much more than kicking a ball around. They’re an opportunity to meet people, make friends, enjoy some exercise and share a good laugh.
There’s no pressure to be a great footballer, and you certainly don’t need any previous football experience.
Walking Football is a friendly, non-competitive version of the game, designed to keep people moving at a comfortable pace.
It’s about having fun, staying active and enjoying good company.
And judging by today’s Halloween celebrations, our ladies have certainly mastered that!

Our ladies’ sessions welcome women aged 50 and over, regardless of fitness level or football experience.
