Meet Kate: Our Shining Knight
Forget Lancelot … Kate stole the show. She arrived at Centro Desportivo da Madeira in Ribeira Brava clad in full medieval plate armor: chainmail, helmet, gauntlets, the works. With every clank and jingle, it felt like a 14th‑century legend had stepped straight onto the pitch.
An Unforgettable Scene

And Kate wasn’t alone in bringing the fun … the other ladies of IMWF turned up in hilarious Halloween costumes, from witches to ghouls, adding even more color and laughter to the day.
Despite the wild winds sweeping across Ribeira Brava, nothing could dampen the spirit. The ladies stood strong, withstanding the storm on the pitch and laughing the gusts away as if their joy itself could chase the weather off.
